 Writing Task: Making Decisions in our Community

In every community there are community leaders who make decisions on behalf of the community. Mr Burt is a community leader and he is a leader in his church. You might know of people in your family who are community leaders. Do they run sports teams? Are they church leaders? Josephine Bartley is a leader who makes decisions on behalf of our community.

Today you will be writing about who makes the decisions on behalf of our community. You can do your own research, or you can watch the video about Josephine Bartley to find out more about the role that she plays in our community.

Task: Write a description to explain who makes the decisions in our community for people in our community.
