 Writing Task: Making Decisions in Sport

Richie McCaw is one of the greatest All Black Rugby Captains in the world. Imagine if you were the captain of a sports team. Use your imagination to write a story about being the captain of a sports team.

Task: Write a narrative to tell a story about being the captain of a sports team. What happens? What goes well? What goes wrong? What decisions do you have to make? If there are problems, how would you solve them?

Begin your writing here: Being a captain of a Rugby team you have to be the best you can and be a good example to your team makes. You have to make good decisions for your team to win and so they can do there best. You also encourage them to do better and in prove and when some then goes wrong then you just move on. When you are a captain and someone gets hurt or injured you get someone else on the field to play for the person who has got injured that is cald being there sub. When you are the sub you take someone of the field and then you go on the field and play.  After the game you celebrate if you have won and say to your team good game and you done very well for todays game.
