I was on a school trip with classmates and teacher. As my class and I was walking along the great wall of China we stopped half way to talk about the facts of the great wall of China I started to day dream about something I can’t remember what I was day dreaming about. Once I had came back to the real world I looked around me and my class was gone! Oh no I had got lost arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I ran all around the Great wall of China but they were no where to be seen.

 I said to my self what if Miss West is freaked out that I have goten lost. Then I started crying for a little while then suddenly  I heard a voice saying Kahzyilou are you okay we thought you had goten lost. As soon as I

heard the voice talking to me It was all of my classmates. I was so happy that I was with my class again. Once My class and I got to the End of the wall we were so tired. After the trip we made it back to school.

 Dear Diary, 

Madagascar is a very lovely place that sit on the Indian sea. So it was a lovely day in Madagascar my family and I woke up and got ready for a lovely day in Madagascar. So up and out of our tents but the minute up and  out of the tent I could feel the nice cold breeze and smell the nice  fresh  air. I could hear the birds chirping and singing as  our day began. First we went to have a nice swim in the fresh water. I could tell that the water was fresh because it was clean and it smelt fresh if it wasn’t fresh then I wouldn’t get in the water but it was fresh which is a good thing. The food that we ate here in Madagascar was delicious and just tasted amazing. Second thing that my family and I went to go and do was the first one in my family to spot a Ring Tailed Lemur get two dollars when we get back to New Zealand and of course I won the two dollars. The last thing we did was have another swim

 There was this lady and she was at the Kruger National park were she was going to see the big five. The first big five animal she saw was an African Elephant that was by the water drinking. The African Elephants can weigh up to 14,000 pounds and almost 6 tons. Did you know that the African Elephants are the only Mammals that can’t jump?  The lady went to find her a campsite for the evening. Once she had found her a campsite she went on with her Journey to find some other big fives. When the lady was on a safari ride in her own truck she had spotted a leopard on top of a rock she stopped her car and took some photos. Kruger park has 147 Mammals and more than  five hundred bird spices. At the Kruger national park the hippo mostly spend all of their  time in the water even though they can’t swim. That was the lady’s safari ride to find the big five animals.

 Zimbabwe have some amazing animals. One of my favourite is the Lion. They like to eat antelope and other big and small animals. You can find them on a safari ride  or in the wild.

Lions and Tigers are related to the cat family but these types of cats are the Big cats. These types of species are listed  critically Endangered. Lions can be very dangerous. Some of the Lions are Lazy like so lazy.

Dear Mum and Dad, I am having a lovely time in Ethiopia with my friends we are loving it here on the horn of Africa it is so hot here. We are loving the food and the animals one of the animals that I find interesting is the Black lion. Lucky My friends and I didn’t come of the rainy seasons. Today we went to see the waterfalls they are so pretty. I can’t wait to come home and tell you more see you soon Mum and Dad.

Dear Diary,  

My family and I arrived in Kenya where lot’s of animals are.  My family and I are

only staying in Kenya for one day. My family and I went to this camping area to set up our tents.

Once our tents were all set up we began our adventure. Suddenly it was dark time and I and my family

had to go to sleep so that’s what we did. All of us went to bed in our tent. It was so not comfortable.

It was a new day and we all got up and put some day clothes on and started our adventure.

We went on a wildlife safari adventure.

On our wildlife safari we saw lots of very cool animals like the big stomping Elephants. We also saw

leopards, lions, tigers and much more. We drove all over the wildlife. Then once we had finished our

wildlife safari we went back to our tent and packed our bags to make our way back to New Zealand.

I was so sad that we only could stay in Kenya for one day only but we had to go back home because my

Mum wanted to. Luckily we all made it back home safely. Once we got back to New Zealand we had to

go into lockdown so we should have stayed in Kenya until the lockdown was over. We would have had

to go into lockdown anyway.

 Welcome everybody to the 2010 mens Ice hockey teams winter olympics. Your champions will be versing united states of america they are both battling for the golden medal 2010. So do you know what time it is people it is time for you to set back and enjoy the amazing Ice hockey game. The game has started and 39 year old Ryan Miller from the U.S.A is all ready devastated from his play in the game U.S.A player Ryan Miller has had one shutout in playing Ice hockey. Canada’s goalie Roberto Luongo is getting ready to knock the U.S.A team goals away from their goal line . We atre away with round two Canada with two points U.S.A with 0 points  so you know what that means our champs are taking the lead in the second round of the game.

It looks like number 16 from Canada has started the second round with the Hockey puck and pass it to one of the player from his team but uh oh has he had pass the puck the other team had got the puck hard luck Canada champs get them back on their pass. Now we are getting to the last bit of the game 7 minutes and 13 seconds on the clock what team is going to win this years winter olympic game. Is it going to be the team with the most points team Canada or U.S.A I don’t know you decided. Well I guess that’s time up on the clock do you want to know how won this years 2010 olympic game well that would be the team in red. Im sorry but that all we have for tonight well I would love to stay and chat with you all but got to run off see you next time everyone.

How to play Ice hockey

 To play Ice Hockey you have to wear a helmet to protect your head from any falls or crashes. So you have a stick you hold the stick in your hand there will be a little Hockey puck. If you have that Hockey puck you have to lead it to your goal line and protect it from the other player that you are playing against. To do that you would have to skate to your goal line with the puck but I can tell you one thing it won’t be easy that's for sure. That is how you play Ice hockey.

Writing how to make a Nanaimo bar

 

1. To make a nanaimo bar you need to have a pot not a pan for the first layer. The first layer is the base of the bar. You would need to add ½ cup of butter into the pot and let it melt away in the pot. Once the butter is melted you would need to take the pot of the heat and add ¼ cup of sugar. After you have added the sugar you would need to add ⅓ cup of cocoa powder then give it a mix until it looks very dark and watery. Once you have finished mixing it you add in one egg and mix it in. When you have finished that put it back on the heat and continue to stir until the mix has dissolved then take it off again. After that you need to add in to the pot 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract or in other words vanilla essence. Once you have done that add in to the pot 200 grams of grahams crackers and mix it all together. Then you would need to add to the pot 1 cup of shredded coconut then half a cup of chopped almonds. Give it a mix and it is ready to go. Once that is finished you would need a dish plat thing and baking paper. With that you would need to line up the baking paper to the dish then grab the mix and pour it at the bottom of the dish for the bottom layer. Once this is finished you need to put it into the refrigerator to set for 1 hour.

1. Now for the middle layer. You would need 55g of butter. Put that into a mixer and beat it until smooth and creamy. After that mix in 2 tablespoons of custard powder with 2 cups of icing sugar. Once you have finished that mix in ½ tsp vanilla essence. Then mix in 2-3 tablespoons of milk then mix in the beater till smooth. After that you want to put that mix on top of the bottom layer and push the mix down firmly with a spoon. Make sure you get all of the mix out of the bowl otherwise it won’t work when you spread it out. Then put it in the refrigerator for about 30 minute also.

3. Now for the last layer of the bar and it is the top lawyer. You are going to need a bowl and a pot filled with water. Now you don’t put the bowl touching the water, you just want it on top of the water. Once you have done this you are going to add in 115g of chocolate to the bowl on top of the pot. Any chocolate but I think it would be better with normal chocolate. After that you would need to add 14g of butter into the bowl with the chocolate. Then mix both of the two things that you put in the bowl for it to melt all together. Now you are just going to grab the bowl off the pot and turn off the heat before you leave the pot and pour the chocolate on top of the middle mix then flatten it all out until even. Also if someone wants to help with the last bit let them. Then put all of that into the fridge for about 15 minutes. Once the 15 minutes is over cut it and it is good to eat.

Dear Diary,

When I first arrived in the capital city of Canada, Ottawa, with my best friend Paulah, we were so happy. We both wondered what would bring Paulah and I great pleasure on our journey in Ottawa.

Paulah and I went to go and book into our very amazing hotel. Once Paulah and I got to our very amazing hotel we went to the reception and asked for the key to our room. Paulah had to tell the receptionist that her and I had booked a hotel room online. Once Paulah and I had told the receptionist that we had book a hotel room the lady that was at the reception desk gave us the key and said, "On the top floor - number 12."

"Thank you." Paulah and I said.

We got to our hotel room. Once we opened the door we had an amazing room!!!! Also an amazing view to the water!!!. Paulah and I settled ourselves, put our bags in our rooms and already we were out the door and out the hotel. The only reason why Paulah and I were out of the hotel already was because we wanted to see who we would meet on our first day in Canada, Ottawa, or what we would see.

Sadly we didn’t see anything interesting or meet anyone although we did see lot’s of amazing restaurants that I wanted to go to. Paulah and I made an agreement that we would go to one of the restaurants for dinner tomorrow on our second day in Ottawa and I said deal to our agreement.

"That was our first day in Ottawa Canada." I said to Paulah. She said, "Yep, that  was our first day in Canada." We went back to our amazing hotel and put our pajamas on and jumped right into bed. The bed was so comfortable. I fell right asleep. So did Paulah.

It was our second day in Ottawa Canada. I got out of bed and went into Paulah’s room and woke her up. I told her the she was snoring so loud that the hotel room shook. "Haha!" We laughed. I got Paulah up and out of bed for breakfast. Once I got her up and out of bed she had said this to me, "You're just the same as my mum, Kahzyilou. Always getting me up and out of bed." I replied back to her comment and to her in person, "Don’t expect it every day Paulah, otherwise if you do expect it tomorrow and I don’t wake you up tomorrow, you would be left behind. So you'd better get up out of bed yourself." After that I called room service for some breakfast. Paulah and I got waffles and chocolate pancakes. They were so delicious.

We got into our best clothes and went out the door. We also locked the door because we forgot to lock the door yesterday when we just ran right out and didn’t shut or lock the door. Once we did that Paulah and I left the hotel. As we were just about to walk away from the hotel we meet this girl called Amiria. She was the girl who was staying in the hotel room next to me and Paulah. Paulah and I invited Amiria if she wanted to join us on our journey. She said, "Yes please! I would love to join you on your journey. I have nothing to do today anyway." I said, "Okay cool. Let’s go then."

We all went to have a look at the museum. After that we went to have lunch together at this place. I forgot what it was called but their food was very nice they had cooked it very well. They made it with love I would say. Then we went boating along the water and found same amazing fish along the way. Once we had finished boating along the river it was time for dinner. At the restaurant we meet two other girls. Their names were Naomi and Leanora. I asked if they would like to have dinner with us. They both said, "Of course. We would love to."

All of us shared a pizza. It was cooked very well. It was also made with love. Here is one interesting thing about us. We all stayed in the same hotel. It was like the most popular hotel in Ottawa Canada. We all got to the hotel and went to our hotel rooms and went to bed for a new day tomorrow.

It was a new day and we booked out of our hotel room. Not just me and Paulah, also all of the girls that we meet aswell. Once we booked out of the hotel all of us got onto a plane. We were all on the same plane too. We all lived in New Zealand. That was my 2 day holiday.

  Once there were two people called Tom and Vinicium. They meet in a place in Brazil called Rio de janeiro. They became best friends and hangout together a lot. They had heard that some big mascots olympic 2016 was coming up. So Tom called Vinicium and asked if he would like to go with him to the mascot 2016. Vinicium hadn’t heard anything about this mascot 2016. He also went into town the other day when everybody was talking about it. He still didn’t know anything about it. Other wise he had said yes he could never ever say no to his best friend. Tom said to Vinicium that it was coming up tomorrow. Vinicium said tomorrow what I better get my self prepared Vinicium said. Tomorrow had came and it was mascot day they were so excited. Vinicium called Tom and said that he would meet tom there. Once Tom had got there all he had to do was wait for Vinicium to get there. Once Vinicium had got there it was about to start. Tom said to Vincium your just in time Vinicium it’s about to start. Once the mascot 2016 had finished Tom said to Vinicium that was so cool did you think so to Tom said. Vinicium replied and said that was just amazing like very amazing I just loved it. Then Tom realised that there was a problem Viniciums shoe had gone missing. Tom told Viniciums that one of his shoes had gone missing Vinicium said what. I going to be in alot of trouble Vinicium said. Tom felt very sad for Vinicium so he said not if we find it first. Vinicium thank you very much my bestie. Or I got another plan how about a search partie Vinicium said. Are you sure about that Vinicium Tom said. I couldn’t be any surer. Okay then Tom said so do you want me to called out a search partie for you Tom said. Yes please Tom Vinicium said okay then Tom said I will call one right now. So thats what Tom did he called a search partie to find a black and white shoe. Once  the search partie had got mascots 2016 they looked every were and had found it. Vinicium was so happy that he had found his shoe now he want get in trouble. They both said thank you and sent the search partie away at once. They both also made there way home and lived happily ever after.

 On one beautiful day in Brazil my friends and I woke up .We had a chat to see what we should do on this beautiful day in Brazil. My friends and I all decided that we would go to the rainforest. My friends and I had a very lovely breakfast. After our breakfast we all got into our rainforest clothes. I was so excited to go and see all the amazing animals in the beautiful rainforest. Once my friends and I got to the rainforest we had one of the workers come with as to tell as the interesting facts about the rainforest animals that we see. My friends and I saw lots of very cool animals like the toucan bird and the Brazilian jaguar. I saw one interesting animal called the three toed sloth. I pointed up for my friends to see it too. They were all very surprised to see one of those weird looking things. They have three fingers, three toes and they are very hairy. They are also very slow at everything. As my friends and I were walking by I saw a butterfly that had a broken wing so I had an idea to help this animal. I thought I would help it by finding a leaf that is about the size of the butterflies wing. I would put the leaf on the butterfly and maybe it would be able to fly again. Once I had finished helping the butterfly we started walking again on our way to the end of the walk in the rainforest. When we got to the end of the rainforest my legs were very sore and I was very tired. My friend and I went to the car and went back to the hotel to have a sleep because we were that tired. That was our lovely day in Brazil.

Dear mum and dad,

I am having a very lovely time in Brasilia with my friends. They are loving it

here in Brasilia. Guess what my friends and I got up to last night?

We went to a restaurant in town. It was the best restaurant I  had ever

been to in Brazil. Their food was amazing, like very amazing! Guess what

I  had at the restaurant? I had the  feijoada. It was just amazing. It had

onion, garlic, bay leaf and some ground meat.

Oh, and the ground meat was just tasted

delicious! It looked a little like a soup. It even tasted like a soup. The

food in this place is just  amazing. Thanks so much Mum and Dad for

letting me come to this amazing place with my friends. I can’t wait to

come back to New zealand to tell you more of my adventure.
